Known to fruit in massive quantities. The caps grow from 0.5-2” across, they are in wavy nature. When young they are chestnut-brown fading to a yellowish buff. It dries from the edges. Lighting around the edge. Brusing greenish blue. When moist it has a stick gelatinous pellicle outer layer. The gills are light brown to purplish brown, having lighter edges. Seen to have an indole content range of 0.5-2% in dried fruits. Found during spring on the East coast & Oct to Feb on the West coast. It can grow side by side with Galerina marginata! Look alike; Deconica coprophila
