The caps can grow +.75” across. It is brownish to yellowish brown, fading to a paler grey color. The gills are brown to dark purple with whitish edges. Staining blue green. The stipe grows 1-2mm thick, growing up to 2.5” tall. Known to produce sclerotia. Having a wide range of indole content; from 3-6% in the dried fruits & ~0.5% in dried sclerotia. Native to Mexico & found at sea level in tropical conditions, seen during May to Oct. Lookalikes Psathyrella corrugis & Parasola conopilea.
